First Layer 3D Printing: Step-by-Step Guide

Why the First Layer Matters

Getting the first layer right is critical to a successful 3D print. Bed leveling and Z-offset calibration ensure that the first layer adheres correctly and maintains uniform thickness across the entire print area.3

Start With Bed Leveling

If flow is too high, material piles up and the nozzle can knock it loose. Small adjustments make a large difference.
